Business Confidence & Economy
The index reveals that there is a mixed picture across the globe when it comes to business confidence and how businesses in each country feel about the state of their economy.
Germany is the most confident of the countries surveyed – (55% of Germans are more confident – only 9% less confident)
France, the UK, US and Canada are all quite similar and evenly split on this issue, with the UK being marginally the least confident.
Spain is the least confident about business prospects with 36% stating no difference in comparison to last year and 30% feeling less confident. Only 12% feel more confident about future business prospects.
